The AURORA Earrings were born from a simple but powerful idea:
When two different parts meet, something new appears .
This design explores the union of two dualities—form and counterform, light and shadow, void and matter—which, when brought together, create a unique gesture, a balance that did not exist before. The artist sought to capture that precise moment when two elements look at each other, recognize each other, and, in doing so, give rise to a new reality .
Crafted from native wood and assembled with meticulous precision, the AURORA shoes are lightweight, comfortable, and feature hypoallergenic steel hardware . Their smooth movement reveals the convergence of both sides, as if each piece complements the other in rhythm with the wearer.
What the artist wanted to express
Aurora talks about the encounter.
From that moment when two parties —who are not equal, but neither are they opposed— decide to have a dialogue.
The artist created this design by imagining two independent forces that, when connected, generate a new contour, a new space, a new way of existing. It is not about fusion, but about coexistence : two identities that remain intact, but together reveal something that neither could achieve on its own.
Just like in life:
There are people, decisions, moments, or emotions that, when they meet, transform us, make us different, and open up a new space for us.
That meeting point —fragile and powerful at the same time— is what AURORA tries to contain.
It is an observation of the real world: the beauty that something other than ourselves can complete us without erasing us .
